Biographies
Rick Holmes is a talented graduate from Leeds College of Music with a BA (Hons) in Jazz Studies. In 2008/2009 he held the guitar chair in the LCM Big Band, which toured the North of England and performed in the BBC venue with special guest Steve Waterman. Rick has been gigging professionally for a number of years and has built up a spectacular musical relationship with alto saxophonist, George Grant over the years.
George Grant is an exceptional jazz saxophonist and graduate from the prestigious Leeds College of Music. George began playing saxophone aged 12 and by 17 was performing regularly at Jazz venues in Cambridgeshire. During this time George began studying privately with top UK saxophonist and composer Gilad Atzmon.
Since graduating from Leeds College of Music in June 2009 George has maintained an active role in the Leeds music scene regularly performing with bands covering a variety of styles such as Pop Soul Funk and Jazz. George has also performed with his own Jazz quintet at top Leeds music venues. George is equally comfortable as a front line jazz improviser or taking a back seat in a horn section as he has exemplified throughout his career with leading UK function band The White Keys.

The duo have played at many venues including, Queen Mary University of London, Doncaster Race Course, Leeds Waterfront Festival, Hotel Du Vin, Harvey Nichols, Selfridges, The Oracle, The Wardrobe, The Radisson, British Gas, Harewood House and countless private functions.
